		<description>Nicole raises a good point above about flourishing in Maine. I always thought it was interesting that Tom&#039;s thrived in Maine while Burt&#039;s Bees (also founded in Maine) fled. I&#039;d bet there&#039;s a good case study story in there somewhere!</description>

Matter of fact, I know of another company in Maine that has a slogan along those lines.  Must be a Maine thing.</description>

		<description>Toms of Maine is fabulous. First of all, they are making business work in a place that is not business-friendly (the great but heavily taxed state of Maine). Second, they were environmental long before it was cool. I buy only their toothpaste! Way to give them props!</description>
